DRT Service – Stagecoach Connect

Where and when is the service operating?

Stagecoach Connect (DRT) is a demand-responsive minibus service operating in Aylesham, Evington, Eythorne, Shepherdswell and Whitfield. A zone map is provided below, or for further detail please download the Stagecoach Connect app (detailed within this page). 

The service operates 7am – 10 pm Monday to Thursday, 7am – noon on Friday and 9am – noon and 1pm – 5 pm on Saturdays. Buses do not operate on Sundays and Bank Holidays. 

How much does it cost?

Any one-way ride within the service zone costs just £3.50 for all passengers. Concessionary pass holders travel for free. 

Please note, booking is required for both paying and concessionary travel passengers.

How to book onto the service?

You may book the service through the Stagecoach Connect app, available on both Google Play and the App Store on your smartphone. The app allows you to make payments, monitor your upcoming and completed rides, and receive notifications for future journeys.

For those who prefer not to use smartphones, bookings can be made via telephone, where a member of Stagecoach staff will assist you. For phone bookings, payment is made in cash to the driver upon boarding the bus. The booking line, reachable at 01227 538631, is open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on weekdays, and from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturdays. Please note, the line is closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Please note that you will have to book at least one hour before you require the bus (you can book up to 7 days in advance). Two buses are in service each day, and journeys are arranged on a first-come, first-served basis. If your request cannot be accommodated at requested time, Stagecoach will inform you of the next available time.
